The Senior Management team will now be comprised of (on a rotating basis) a Coordinator representing Placement Programs, a Coordinator from Support Programs, a Senior Manager from the Administrative Support function, the Human Resource Manager and the Executive Director.

Decision-making is being changed and moved to the most appropriate level with the goal of more efficient, quicker responses in order to improve service delivery.

Clearer definition of roles and responsibilities to facilitate decision making.

All program decisions are to be made at the program level

Only those decisions affecting the whole Agency will be made at the Senior Management level.

We believe that this structure will allow for an efficient decision making process, maintain program integrity and allow support to the program areas in order for them to continue as centers for excellence for service delivery. This will allow for a smaller group of Senior Management staff to address key agency wide issues.

With the changes that I have noted I believe that we are now prepared as an Agency from a Board level, from a Management level and from staff and volunteer level to face the challenges that are ahead of us in providing a full continuum of assessment, treatment and support services to individuals, families and communities in the years ahead. This is an exciting time of new challenges and change. As an Agency we look forward to continuing our work in the community, and to continue partnering with other groups and agencies to meet the needs of children and families.
